Thucydides On Justice, Power, and Human Nature book

Paper, Order, or Assignment Requirements

What has reading Thucydides contributed to your thoughts about Nussbaum’s Not for Profit? Please write an essay of 500 to 750 words on this question. Cite Thucydides not according to our editor’s chapters and pages, but according to the book and chapter numbers of his work, which we practiced in class. Please include a word count at the end of your essay. Format as for earlier papers. Angles to consider: • She mentions Thucydides. Has reading Thucydides expanded or changed the parts of her discussion that mention him? • Nussbaum has a lot to say about what the humanities have to offer democracy. Thucydides shows us a democracy in action. Does reading Thucydides offer any perspectives on Nussbaum’s discussion beyond the connections she herself makes? • History is a subject in the humanities. Did reading Thucydides offer you any insights into the way humanities are valuable according to Nussbaum?

Gender inequality

Paper, Order, or Assignment Requirements

write a detailed annotated bibliography on gender inequality by consulting ten (10) scholarly sociology journals.

An annotated bibliography is an alphabetical (by author’s last name) list of references (on a specific topic) which is followed by an “annotation” or brief summary and review of each article. An annotation is typically 150-200 words in length and describes the content and focus of the article. It should outline the content relevant to your topic and indicate the quality and accuracy of the research reported. In essence, each entry should inform the reader about the topic of the article, its quality and its relevance to your topic. An annotation is NOT the abstract of an article. It is a brief summary and commentary of the information in the article.

this should be a review of articles in the field of sociology – articles in newspapers such as the New York Times are not appropriate for this assignment. use sociology journals

Health Care, Nursing- EBP process

Paper, Order, or Assignment Requirements

The first step of the EBP process is to develop a question from the nursing practice problem of interest.
Select a practice problem of interest to use as the focus of your research.
Start with the patient and identify the clinical problems or issues that arise from clinical care.
Following the PICOT format, write a PICOT statement in your selected practice problem area of interest, which is applicable to your proposed capstone project.
The PICOT statement will provide a framework for your capstone project (the project students must complete during their final course in the RN-BSN program of study).
Conduct a literature search to locate research articles focused on your selected practice problem of interest. This literature search should include both quantitative and qualitative peer-reviewed research articles to support your practice problem.
Select six peer-reviewed research articles which will be utilized through the next 5 weeks as reference sources. Be sure that some of the articles use qualitative research and that some use quantitative research. Create a reference list in which the six articles are listed. Beneath each reference include the article’s abstract. The completed assignment should have a title page and a reference list with abstracts.
Suggestions for locating qualitative and quantitative research articles from credible sources:

  1. Use a library database such as CINAHL Complete for your search.
  2. Using the advanced search page check the box beside “Research Article” in the “Limit Your Results” section.
  3. When setting up the search you can type your topic in the top box, then add quantitative or qualitative as a search term in one of the lower boxes. Research articles often are described as qualitative or quantitative.
To narrow/broaden your search, remove the words qualitative and quantitative and include words that narrow or broaden your main topic. For example: Diabetes and pediatric and dialysis. To determine what research design was used, review the abstract and the methods section of the article. The author will provide a description of data collection using qualitative or quantitative methods.

6.1 Unit IV Lesson Chapter 6 Unit IV Assessment
Reading Assignment Chapter 5: Program Design, pp. 202-238 Chapter 6: Training Evaluation, pp. 248-275
Unit Lesson In order to create the best training program, you must consider some key factors. These factors include the training site, lesson plan, curriculum, audience (refer to the Unit III Lesson), trainers, requests for proposals (RFPs), and evaluation methods. Each of these factors play a crucial role in the program design and training evaluation. Training Site When it comes to the training site, the environment also contributes to the success of the training; therefore, it is important to select the best facility possible. In doing this, you should consider your training style, number of participants, equipment needs, and external demands in aiding in the delivery of the training. Training can be conducted onsite or off-site depending on the aforementioned factors. There are several advantages and disadvantages for each; moreover, there is no right response that is always the best—it will depend on the needs of the training. In one example, a company trainer was tasked with providing mandatory training to the employees across offices statewide. There was a set deadline for the training that prevented the company’s training team from visiting every office location, so the trainer discussed options with a training vendor. The factors discussed were the large number of people needing training at several locations across the state, the quickly approaching deadline for the training, and ways to minimize the costs of delivering the training. It was decided that the best solution for the training was off-site. In doing this, the vendor hired more trainers and placed them strategically in various locations throughout the state so the demands of the training could be met within the specified timeframe and the costs could be controlled. Of course, site visits are required. This will allow you to better assess the facility. In order to assure all demands are being met, it is recommended to develop and use a checklist to assist in selecting the best

Analyzing Consumer Foods for a QNT 561 course

Paper, Order, or Assignment Requirements

This signature assignment is designed to align with specific program student learning outcome(s) in your program. Program Student Learning Outcomes are broad statements that describe what students should know and be able to do upon completion of their degree. The signature assignments might be graded with an automated rubric that allows the University to collect data that can be aggregated across a location or college/school and used for program improvements.
Purpose of Assignment
The purpose of this assignment is for students to synthesize the concepts learned throughout the course. This assignment will provide students an opportunity to build critical thinking skills, develop businesses and organizations, and solve problems requiring data by compiling all pertinent information into one report.
Assignment Steps
Resources: Microsoft Excel®, Signature Assignment Databases, Signature Assignment Options, Part 3: Inferential Statistics
Scenario: Upon successful completion of the MBA program, say you work in the analytics department for a consulting company. Your assignment is to analyze one of the following databases:
• Manufacturing
• Hospital
• Consumer Food
• Financial
Select one of the databases based on the information in the Signature Assignment Options.
Provide a 1,600-word detailed, statistical report including the following:
• Explain the context of the case
• Provide a research foundation for the topic
• Present graphs
• Explain outliers
• Prepare calculations
• Conduct hypotheses tests
• Discuss inferences you have made from the results
This assignment is broken down into four parts:
• Part 1 – Preliminary Analysis
• Part 2 – Examination of Descriptive Statistics
• Part 3 – Examination of Inferential Statistics
• Part 4 – Conclusion/Recommendations
Part 1 – Preliminary Analysis (3-4 paragraphs)
Generally, as a statistics consultant, you will be given a problem and data. At times, you may have to gather additional data. For this assignment, assume all the data is already gathered for you.
State the objective:
• What are the questions you are trying to address?
Describe the population in the study clearly and in sufficient detail:
• What is the sample?
Discuss the types of data and variables:
• Are the data quantitative or qualitative?
• What are levels of measurement for the data?
Part 2 – Descriptive Statistics (3-4 paragraphs)
Examine the given data.
Present the descriptive statistics (mean, median, mode, range, standard deviation, variance, CV, and five-number summary).
Identify any outliers in the data.
Present any graphs or charts you think are appropriate for the data.
Note: Ideally, we want to assess the conditions of normality too. However, for the purpose of this exercise, assume data is drawn from normal populations.
Part 3 – Inferential Statistics (2-3 paragraphs)
Use the Part 3: Inferential Statistics document.
• Create (formulate) hypotheses
• Run formal hypothesis tests
• Make decisions. Your decisions should be stated in non-technical terms.
Hint: A final conclusion saying “reject the null hypothesis” by itself without explanation is basically worthless to those who hired you. Similarly, stating the conclusion is false or rejected is not sufficient.
Part 4 – Conclusion and Recommendations (1-2 paragraphs)
Include the following:
• What are your conclusions?
• What do you infer from the statistical analysis?
• State the interpretations in non-technical terms. What information might lead to a different conclusion?
• Are there any variables missing?
• What additional information would be valuable to help draw a more certain conclusion?
